Morning departure, drive across the Netherlands to the harbor of Rotterdam, where we board our ship mid-afternoon. Check in to your cabins, later, dinner on board (included). Enjoy the amenities on board during the evening as we cruise towards England.
Breakfast on board upon arrival in Hull around 08:00. We disembark and head north. We will stop at the ruins of a Roman Fort, part of the ancient Hadrian's Wall. After hotel check in, join your guide for a typical fish & chips dinner and a ghost tour of Edinburgh (GBP 20).
Half day of sightseeing Edinburgh with our local guide. Then, time at leisure to perhaps visit Edinburgh castle or shop along Princes Street for tweeds and tartans. Tonight, you have the chance to see the famous "Taste of Scotland" Show. A great dinner, where the "Three Scotish Tenors" take you on a journey across the ages (£ 70)
Enjoy a free day in Edinburgh or join an optional tour to Stirling and the Highlands: Visit of Stirling Castle, a mighty fortress towering high above the plain. Centuries ago it was the most stragegically important of all the castles in Scotland. We drive on to the scenic Highlands. Visit of a whisky distillery (tour and tasting). The evening is free to explore the pubs or restaurants of Edinburgh.
After breakfast and check out we depart from Edinburgh. Around noon we’ll arrive in York. Walking tour of the quaint Shambles, and the magnificent 13th century Minster Cathedral. Later we head on to Hull, where we board our ship. Dinner on board is included.
After breakfast on board, we disembark in Zeebrügge, Belgium. Visit of the nearby city of Bruges. This city is a true medieval jewel. We discover the sights of the historical center, some time to browse, shop and for lunch. Later, head back to Ramstein. Evening return.
