During Carnevale season, Venice comes alive with parties and masked balls in the mansions and palaces. The streets and squares are filled with an indescribable atmosphere, created by the costumes that compete for beauty and elegance. The masked party-goers are what make the Venice Carnevale one of the most romantic and traditional of Europe’s festivals.
